I first began dabbling in yoga in high school and took up a practice in earnest in 2000.
Through yoga I've found joy, confidence, laughter, gratitude and healing. I have learned
many lessons, which have followed me off of my mat in profound ways.
My goal as a teacher is to help all people experience ease and release in their bodies
and to help them find yoga where they are. Yoga is a practice, not a perfect, which
means that it truly is for everyone. I'm honored and grateful to be able to share this with
My background includes a lot of flow-style yoga (vinyasa, Anusara, Forrest), yet I fell in
love with the gentle, challenging SomaYoga style taught by the Yoga North International
SomaYoga Institute and was privileged to get my 200 hour certification through them. I
teach SomaYoga and also blend it into flow classes to increase accessibility, comfort and
awareness in the postures. I also see private clients.
I am currently working toward my 500 hour certification through Yoga North, in addition
to an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist certification through the Himalayan Institute.
