My professional career has taught me that healing involves more than working with the physical body or making physical changes to an environment. I’m a very goal-directed individual with a strong desire to help others live healthier lives. I’ve pursued that desire throughout my life, first through a two-year Peace Corp term in Yemen as an immunologist, then as a physical therapist working in a clinic setting, an injury prevention/ergonomic manager for a major metro hospital system, and now as a yoga therapist and energy healer.
Healing means “to make whole”; I’ve learned through experience that when the mind, body, and spirit work together the healing process can occur in a most amazing way. My background in physical therapy and ergonomics has uniquely qualified me as a yoga instructor and therapist. My sophisticated understanding of the physical body enables me to tailor my yoga instruction to meet specific physical needs. I’m thrilled to be working with others to build this unique center for wellness and integrated health.
