A little background info for you:
KEFIR WATER Kefir water is a fermented fizzy probiotic drink that is quick and simple to prepare, and once it is brewed, absolutely delicious! As a probiotic it is more potent than yogurt, yet also dairy-free! It is easy and ready sooner than kombucha! Research shows that adding kefir into your diet can increase digestive vitality, help lower your risk of osteoporosis, work to protect against cancer, reduce allergies, and much more. It contains millions of live microorganisms and probiotic bacteria to assist in keeping your belly happy. And a happy belly is a happy body! In this class you will take home your own kefir grain starter as an added bonus!
ELDERBERRY Elderberries have been used for their immune boosting properties for ages -- probably even the Stone Ages! For good reason, they are packed with vitamins A, B, and C, and many MANY healthy antioxidants! Elderberry is great to have around in the winter time.Research has proven that consuming Elderberry reduces the severity and length of the common cold and the flu. There are specific chemicals in the berries that reduce swelling in mucous membranes, and help relieve nasal congestion. The Elder plant, including the flower, may have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anticancer properties but best to stick with the berries as that is where the most benefit is found!
